Major Change to codebase on the backend

In further preparation for the additional features that are going to be added, and because of a conflict that was discovered while laying the foundation for the new features, the backend codebase was retooled fairly extensively.

You still don’t need to do anything. Your BookerBox will run the same, if not faster now. These changes should improve any conflicts with StyleSheets if you had any issues.

Converted to database

In order to prepare for a boatload of new features that are going to be added in the next few weeks, the BookerBox has been converted over to being database driven. Originally it was just hardcoded into a single page of code. This was fast, but not flexible. Because the database is small, there is no really speed change.

What this means to you: NOTHING

you don’t have to change a thing. This has no effect on the client side, and purely a prep for future features :)

Stay tuned…

LAUNCH!

Welcome to BookerBox. A not so evil, easy to use widget which you can just paste into any webpage providing your visitors with an easy to use way to bookmark your page. You may have seen this type of thing before, however, BookerBox is different.

BookerBox requires zero, nada, zip programming knowledge. All you need to be able to do is:

  • Highlight some text on a webpage.
  • Press control-C on your keyboard, or select copy from your browser menu.
  • Then paste it into your webpage, blog template, or shopping cart template.

Thats it. Of course it does require you to be able to work with your webpage, but it really should be a pretty straightforward process. Most other bookmarking widgets require a complicated plugin and code to be added to your pages, but not BookerBox. Basically, on any website where you can place javascript code, you can put BookerBox.
